Round one of the 2017 Digicel Cup was completed this afternoon with wins to the Kroton Hela Wigmen, Lae Snax Tigers, EPG Enga Mioks and Bintangor Goroka Lahanis.
In the opening match of the season yesterday in Port Moresby, the Hela Wigmen beat PRK Mendi Muruks 20-12.
To the matches today, the reigning premiers Snax Tigers def. Agmark Rabaul Gurias 40-0 in Lae, Mioks def. NCDC Vipers 16-10 in Wabag and Goroka Lahanis def. Waghi Tumbe 35-16 in Goroka.
