POM softball names men’s squads for national champs

The Port Moresby Men’s Softball Association has confirmed its two teams for the 42nd Fast Pitch National Softball Championship to be held in Kokopo, East New Britain on the Easter weekend.

POM Melonas; Ansolom Bunbun, Consie Bais, Nerius Kua (Bears) Tony Williams, Ora Gimi, Dick Bart, Gerald Pokanau (Anti Pest United Brothers) Danny Tovia, Isikiel Tovia, Demas Tovia (PNG Power) Colin Mangot, Paul Bogan, Mika Zale (Lamana Yokomo) Consie Lumaris, Colish Pagal (Brown Eagles) Kepas Mormor (Defence) Jonty Malum (Saints) and Junior Totil (Gazelle).

POM Meros; Mosley Obed, Chris Paak, Tony Karani (Defence) Clifford Kouse, Mark Tomangana, Frazer Kudada, Ronald Meli (Lamana Yokomo) Eddie Simba, Eugene Tovue, Paul Tabete (PNG Power) Julius Tatai, Darius Kero (Bears) Gabby Pamel, Clement Okole (Gazelle) Martin ToAlbert, Peter Bunbun, Bernard ToAlbert (Brown Eagles) and Adrian Chan (Anti Pest United Brothers).

Meanwhile, the Port Moresby Men’s Softball Association will have its grand final tomorrow at the Bisini Grounds.

At 10am is the B grade match between Brown Eagles and United Brothers. Following this will be A grade showdown between PNG Power and Lamana scheduled for 1pm.
