Oil Search Orchids Committee Executive Chairperson, Ruth Waram, thanked the Brisbane Broncos Women’s Rugby League team for the opportunity to participate in this trial match – which should boost the Orchids preparation for remaining engagements for the year.
The Oil Search PNG Orchids remaining events for the year are the Women’s Rugby League World Cup 9s in Sydney in October and the British Lions tour to PNG in November.
The PNG legends play the Brisbane Broncos legends at 2pm followed by the Oil Search PNG Orchids versus Brisbane Broncos Women’s game at 4pm this Saturday, August 31, at the Oil Search National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.
