MKRLA comp deferred indefinitely

The Motu Koitabu Rugby League Association (MKRLA) 2017 competition has been deferred indefinitely.

Round one of competition was scheduled to kick-off on the weekend at the Murray Barracks Oval, Port Moresby.

Chairman of the MKRLA, Pipi Dai Boe said this is because the Memorandum of Agreement between the MKRLA and the Board of Trustees of Murray Barracks Rugby Oval is yet to be signed.

“This is scheduled to take place this Wednesday.

“But due to the Easter celebrations this weekend, we will possibly start the competition after Easter.

“The MKRLA sincerely apologises for this unfortunate setback and any inconvenience caused, but vows to sort out this matter and others so that the competition can start,” said Boe.
