Coach of the SP Hunters, Michael Marum says the train-on squad will be reduced from 32 to 25 players by the end of this month.
Pre-season training for the Hunters resumed on Thursday.
Marum also confirmed PNG Kumul forward and former SP Hunters vice-captain, Wellington Albert has signed with the English Super League club, Widnes Vikings.
