In an effort to globalise Women's Cricket, the International Cricket Council has announced the Women’s Global Development Squad that will get the exposure of playing English Cricket Board Super League sides.
City Pharmacy Lewas, Ravini Oa and Kaia Arua took time out from training today to speak with media about their selection into the International Cricket Councils Women’s Global Development Squad.
The squad 13 member squad will be playing the English Cricket Board Super League sides.
Both Hanubada women were happy for the opportunity and spoke about their main aims and motivating factors going into the team.
Ravini Oa spoke about her skill set and areas that she would like to improve on going into the training of the squad.
Whilst soft spoken Kaia Arua, gave an insight into the emotions felt for both women making it into the team.
Meantime, the duo were selected from a pool following three nominations each from teams participating in the recent ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier.
