Firepower added for Team Gulf

Team Gulf have added fire power to their cause in the likes of former PNG track queens Lilly Tua and Mae Koime for the 7th PNG Games in Kimbe.

Tua and Koime, who have had colourful careers in their respective sporting disciplines, are now involved as technical officials with Team Gulf.

Tua’s set a national record in women's long jump, 5.75m, during the then South Pacific Games in 1991 in Port Moresby.

This record was broken by Rellie Kaputin just before the 2015 Pacific Games with a jump of 5.79m.

Koime, on the other hand, was the former sprint queen before Toea Wisil broke her record of 11.37 with a time of 11.29m.
