Finals for the National Capital District Governor’s Christmas Cup will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017, at the Kone Tigers Oval.
Tournament coordinator Sengelo Skonga said this is upon advice from the Governor’s office yesterday afternoon.
In the men’s Bowl division, the Freeway Bumpers will play Ialibu Hawks in the grand final. For the Plate, 54 Bears will go up against the Megusa Brothers.
The Cup division is still into the preliminary finals, with the Mountain Bulls to play the Erima Wanderers while Ex Rocks will do battle against defending champions Garden Hills Eagles.
Winners from both games will book their spots in the grand final.
The women’s grand final will be between the Southern Stars and the Hohola Flies.
