Final fight set for Nov 19

19 November is the date locked in for the Flame Flour 2017 Final Fight in Port Moresby.

The event will showcase some of the best boxing talents PNG has to offer at Sports Inn and will feature a host of new and familiar boxers taking to the ring to fight for glory.

The Flame Flour 2017 Final Fight is the 4th event hosted this year by the PNG Professional Boxing Gymnasium.

Speaking on the sponsorship, Goodman Fielder’s marketing manager, Jeremy Fry, said Flame Flour is a brand that many people associate with fight sports and the strength and energy proposition still stands true today.

“We’ll also be having a corner sponsored by Skel Rice – the fastest growing rice brand in PNG.

“We are also very happy to support the reinvigoration of boxing in the country via the PNG PBG and have committed significant resources to making this event a success.”

President of PNG PBG, Elvin Wafewa, thanked Goodman Fielder and Sports Inn for their continuous support throughout the year.

“We are really grateful for the help of all our sponsors. Also I want to thank Trophy Haus for their support selling tickets for our last couple of fights and to our new sponsors NBC TV that will be broadcasting an hour of the event for free.”
