Coach of the Hebou PNG Barramundis, Jason Gillespie, said there were positives taken out from yesterday’s loss to Tasmania.
From the six matches played so far on the Queensland and Northern Territory tour, the Barras have yet to register a win with five losses and one draw.
“There were some positives, yes. We spoke about improving our discipline with the ball and our energy and effort in the field. It was very pleasing to see development in those areas,” said Gillespie.
“It can be tough when you are not winning. As we have spoken about, we need to make sure we are learning from everything we do in every match, every situation, every training session and every review of the performances.
“Come Scotland, we will be as well prepared as we can be.”
