PNG rugby fans will now be able to enjoy up to 20 live rugby matches every weekend.
Papua New Guinea's premier Sport Network - TVWAN Action continues to grow its live Rugby coverage in the region by adding two special LIVE event channels on Digicel Play.
Un-interrupted live broadcast of all the NRL matches will remain on TVWAN Action, including special pre-match built-up and post-match analysis. State of Origin, ANZAC Day tests as well as the Rugby League World Cup will also air live on TVWAN Action.
The PNG Hunters matches in the Intrust Super Cup and the Digicel Cup matches will be broadcasted live on Digicel Play Channel 90 (Live Events 1), while TVWAN Action will air the repeats of those games.
This season, Rugby Union fans will see comprehensive live coverage of Super Rugby, British & Irish Lions Tour, The Rugby Championship, Mitre 10 Cup, Currie Cup and more on Channel 91 (Live Events 2).
For the first time in Papua New Guinea, fans will now be able to enjoy up to 20 live rugby matches every weekend by subscribing to a Digicel Play 1 Day, 7 Day, 14 Day or 30 Day Supa Plans.
Viewers will be informed of the NRL matches on a short-turn-around on TVWAN Rugby via on-screen messages played out from transmission.
