NCD Governor describes late Hau O’fa as a ‘brave lion’

National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop has described the late Roger Hau O’fa as a ‘lion’ that always fight for what is right.

In his responds to a facebook post, Parkop salute the late Hau O’fa for his contributions to the development of the country and also to the media industry.

“We all mourn the loss of this great but humble man. A champion who is as tall as a mountain and as strong as a lion.

“No amount of tears will wipe away the loss and sadness we feel and I personally feel at the loss of a dear brother and a great human being.

“We all feel the pain of the family. We grieve with them but we salute this National Hero.

“He will always be in my heart and in our memory and he shall live forever in our mind and our lives.”

Parkop also passes his condolences to the family especially to his eldest daughter Michelle and her siblings.

“You all should stand tall and be proud to be his children. We have lost a national icon a hero and a champion”

The famous radio legend Roger Hau O’fa passed on at his village Iare in Kairuku, Central Province on Saturday night.

The body of the late Roger is now currently at the Paradise Hospital for death verifications and will be later brought to the Dove Funeral Home.
