
Prime Minister James Marape, has presented a dummy cheque of K10 million for the Manus Provincial Health Authority.
The funds will be used to start the construction of 1000 bed for isolation and treatment facility for COVID-19 and other respiratory disease patients.
He said the funding is separate from the budget of K15 million allocated for a new modern hospital facility.
Manus Provincial Health Authority Chairman, Robert Siwer thanked the Prime Minister for the Funding and the commitment to build the new hospital for the province.
