Kikoli’s attacker warned in court

The former partner of female police officer, Josie Kikoli, who is in court over grievous bodily harm charges, has been warned not to interfere with state witnesses.

Clement Manguva returned to the Waigani Committal Court yesterday.

With police still carrying out their investigations over Kikoli’s brutal assault of March 3, his case was adjourned for another month.

However the adjournment did not go without a reminder from Magistrate Mekeo Gauli.

Gauli told Mungava, who is on a K500 police bail, that his bail will be revoked in the event he interferes with state witnesses.

He allegedly assaulted Kikoli on March 3 at Morata barracks.
