Flood destroys food gardens at Kido

Food gardens at Kido Village in the Central Province are under water because of the heavy rains that have led to a rise in sea leavels.

Villagers waded through water that came up as far as above the knee, to salvage any garden food they could find.

The bad weather and heavy downpour has prevented villagers from harvesting.

Families there currently have a shortage of food supply.
