Extract positive lessons from situations: Juffa

Northern Governor Gary Juffa has called on his people to learn from the leadership of leaders in the past five years.

“We don’t look at situation as mistakes or tragedies but look at them as educational moments and try to extract the positive out of those situations.”

He said even the most negative situation can become educational and positive.

Juffa made these remarks when speaking to his people in Popondetta town before the swearing in of the three Northern MPs.

He made reference to the past leaders where the two open MPs did not work alongside him to bring tangible services to the people of Oro.

He added that after using the first years in Parliament as a stepping stone, he is confident that a lot has been learnt and he will be working with his colleague MPs to deliver basic services.

He further reiterated that Oro has a lot of potential leaders but a few minority with vested interests always spoil their good name.

Juffa thanked his colleagues, Ijivitari MP Richard Masere and Sohe MP Henry Amuli, for working in partnership and committing to bring Oro to a next level in terms of developments.

The three MPs are currently in the Opposition bench.

Meanwhile, the first Parliament sitting for the 10th Parliament is scheduled for tomorrow at 2pm.
