Electricity for SHP school

A school in Southern Highlands will now have electricity following the commissioning of the electrification program today.

The Mineral Resources Development Company-initiated program, under its community initiative program, will see the official commissioning of a genset today by MRDC Managing Director, Augustine Mano.

Kagua Secondary School has had no proper electricity supply for more than 20 years.

All classrooms, administration office, teachers’ houses, dormitories the library will now have power while students will be able to have night studies in the comfort of their rooms, classrooms or library.
