Bogus claims flooding EHP administration: Allan

The Minister for Lands and Physical Planning has urged his people to avoid lodging unnecessary claims with the Eastern Highlands Provincial Administration.

Benny Allan, who is also the Unggai Bena MP, said most of those claims are bogus and should not be entertained.

"There have been so many unnecessary claims flooding the administration. Why is that?

"Those funds could be used for both national and provincial functions,” said the Minister.

“I am ashamed of such claims and we need to stop this nonsense.”

He said the recent impasse has caused a lot of instability in the province and the extra claims have caused a lot of uncertainty in the administration.

He said let the Governor and the acting Provincial Administrator to do their jobs properly; Governor to deal with politics and administrator with public servants.
