3rd MKA hold first assembly meeting

The 3rd Motu Koita Assembly Members had their first Assembly meeting on Wednesday 31st of October, 2018.

The meeting was held at Pari Village Community Hall.

High on the agenda was the election of the Deputy Chairman, the 2018 Budget and the status of the Assembly’s business arm,Tabudubu Limited.

Member for Kirakira, Arutu Bake, was elected unopposed as the new Deputy Chairman for the 3rd Assembly.

The budget was focused on the members being resourced properly so they can deliver services with minimal challenges.

A new independent board of directors for Tabudubu Limited was appointed with Lohia Boe Samuel as Chairman and Hari Rabura as Deputy. Other board members are Gerea Aopi, David Toua, Isikeli Taureka, Rena Masters, Ulato Avei, Frank Bouraga and Leon Buskin.

Samuel indicated his disappointment with the previous affairs of the business entity and will call for a full investigation of the books.
