23yo’s autopsy expected this week

The post mortem of the 23-year-old IBS student whose body was recently discovered at the carpark area of the Treasury building will be conducted any time this week.

The body of the late Tabu Airi was found on October 25 after being missing for four days following a function at one of the night clubs in Port Moresby.

A relative had posted online days after they realised that he was missing, with description of the clothes he was last seen in.

The post read: “My cousin brother has been missing since Friday night. He graduated at IBS College that day and headed over to Lamana Gold Club to celebrate his end of schooling year…”

The body of the student was found days later, where his family confirmed his identity at the Port Moresby General Hospital lay out.

According to Homicide, this can be a murder case, however the post mortem will have to be done first to establish the cause of death.
