“The increase in the compulsory fees is necessary to allow the university to continue to provide teaching and learning services in 2018, to address the widening gap between the University’s income and expenditure, and to overcome the practice of deferring liabilities for future reconciliation,” clarifies UPNG.

The fee structures for international students and postgraduate students, among others, can be downloaded from this link: http://bit.ly/2kQVbK0

  1. Compulsory fees payable by postgraduate students and international students, including South Pacific students and dependents of UPNG expatriate staff, will remain unchanged. This does not include residential, service charges, administrative, or SRC fees, which are paid for, in addition.
  2. Fees payable by students on TESAS Scholarships may be adjusted, subject to advice from the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology.
