PIH camps gaining momentum

Advanced Cardiac Camps concept, by the Pacific International Hospital, is running smoothly since its inception this year.

The hospital has just completed its third camp in West New Britain – at the Kimbe General Hospital.

These camps bring specialist services to provinces, allowing free checks and consultations with specialist doctors and pave way for further medical attention for those who need it.

The whole scope of the program covers education, discussion, evaluation, investigation and management.

And with the success so far, PIH wishes to expand the program in the near future, including children heart disease and other diseases such as cancer, orthopaedics (conditions involving the musculoskeletal system), eye care, etc.

“We will be offering almost all areas of medicine at the outreach programs in the near future. We have plans for comprehensive cancer program very soon,” said Dr Suresh Venkita – medical director, PIH.
