In Port Moresby, one popular spot when it comes to love is Love Story Studio.
It has everything thing to do with that – mostly focused on weddings.
“Every wedding is a love story,” says Chen Guang, the shop manager.
When Vision City mall extended to accommodate other shops, Chen was quick to secure a spot at the far end of the new wing.
Love Story Studio opened its doors in January 20, 2016.
Of course, customers were a problem in the first few months.
“Most were curious. They came in only to look around,” he says.
But two years on now, the shop is a favourite stop for many. Its magic lies in the photo-shoot it offers.
Chen is a professional photographer. Along with another photographer, Chen Kangbing, the team do normal photo-shoots for families, friends, couples, ID and passport photos and others.
“I want to use my camera to record every nice memory for a customer,” he said.
Salesperson Lucy Mark says this service brings demand every day from 9am – 9pm.
“It’s because of the quality of the image. And we either print a hardcopy or provide a soft copy, based on their choice,” she said.
Other services provided are banners, fliers, photo frame, wedding dress and attire, decorations, chair covers, among more.
Love Story Studio also puts a few of its apparel and covers on hire.
