After 10 months, it looks like Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have decided to call it quits, much to the dismay of their fans.
A source told People magazine that things "have been hard for months" for the Gomez, 25, and The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, 27.
"She and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship... It's been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn't easy on them."
The couple first started dating in January, before making their first official debut outing as a couple at the Met Gala in May.
The split has reportedly occurred only days after Gomez and ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber have been spotted hanging out three times in the same week.
Earlier this month, Bieber arrived at the 'Fetish' singer's LA home in his white four-wheel drive. The next week, the exes were spotted attending church together, before grabbing breakfast.
Although multiple outlets claimed The Weeknd was "fine" with Gomez and Bieber hanging out, People reports fans noticed that the 'Starboy' singer soon unfollowed all Gomez's family on Instagram, including her mother.
Fans have been particularly devastated over the reported split, turning to Twitter to vent their grief.
