The Digicel Stars talent competition is back and it is bigger and better this year now with the inclusion of a variety of talents including singing, dancing, comedy, magic, fire eating and more!
Following the announcement of the Show’s Season 1 Live auditions in five centres across the country last week, the host and judges of the talent show were announced earlier this week.
Host Carol Kidu and the four judges Elton Kili, Lorna McPherson, Anslom Nakikus and AKAY 47 will all be at the Season 1 Live Auditions starting with Buka on Saturday 12th October at Club Oasis in Buka Town.
Digicel PNG’s Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer, Lorna McPherson, said: “This time we’re all about talent, we’ve not singled out anyone or limited our criteria to singing only. We are delighted to welcome any talent, all persons 18 years and over to come to participate in the Season 1 auditions.
“It is a great opportunity for all talented Papua New Guineans to come showcase their talent to a panel of very talented and experienced judges from the entertainment industry.
“We are excited to see what Papua New Guineans have to offer and help guide and encourage these talented individuals throughout their journey to stardom.”
The Digicel Stars Talent Competition Season 1 Auditions will commence this month and will run through to November.
First auditions will be at Buka from October 12th, followed by Lae from October 19 to 20, Kimbe from October 26 to 27, Goroko November 2 to 3 and will conclude in Port Moresby from November 9 to 10 before advancing into the heats and finals.
