Rebirth of Haus Cook

You think you’ve seen it all but you haven’t!

It’s the rebirth of Haus Cook.

And this time, producer Aileen Asi has stepped it up PNG style.

The half hour weekly program is aimed at showcasing PNG’s dynamic food diversity.

This includes featuring various restaurants, chefs – and their favourite recipes, traditional dishes and also quick and easy budget meals that can be prepared at home.

“This year we would like to cover local cooking as in traditional styles from different provinces. Also not necessary cooking chef but cooking with everyday people who love cooking also, we also include kids favourite meals,” she said.

The show began last year with 12 episodes, mostly featuring Zenag recipes and Chef Tom from Port Moresby’s famous Meat Haus.

After a long recess, the show will kick off again on Monday April 3.

“This year we are actually starting the show again,” Aisi said.

A new face on the show will be Anthony Wesley Evennett.

Haus Cook is a weekly program that is aired Monday nights at the Prime Time of 7:15pm on TVWAN.
