Musicians unite for disaster Appeal

An urgent appeal is going out to all musicians interested to raise money for the earthquake victims in the four affected provinces to contact Elizabeth Tandoa.

Tandoa has teamed up with other musicians from Southern Highlands and Hela and is extending the invitation to others.

Tandoa can be contacted on 73627308.

She said those interested can meet with the team tomorrow, Saturday 3rd March at 12 noon to confirm details for a fundraiser concert to be hosted on March 10.

"Let's not point fingers. Let the politicians do what they can do, it's up to them.

“We should focus on what we as little people can do. The little we can do is enough.

“So to all fellow musicians let's do this, without being paid," she said.

Tandoa was emotional during the press conference, announcing this.

Accompanying her was Augustine Emil, another renowned musician, also from the affected area.

The theme is "Musicians unite for disaster Appeal".

He said some musicians from other provinces have confirmed their support towards this.

B-Rad of B-Rad studios is one who has raised his hand for this effort.

"There will come a time when you will be in this situation. So please, help us help our people," said Emil.

Following tomorrow's meeting, confirmed details on the concert will be released.
