Music festival attracts great turnout

It was a great turn out to the End of Year Music Festival. Families and friends came together on the eve of Christmas to enjoy live music from favorite artists at the Moresby Arts Theatre.

The daylight concert had artists like Saiikay, Tarvin Toune, Mal Meninga Kuri and Stagajah as well as Solomon Island’s Singer Young Davies, performing.

Organizer and Founder of Gold Entertainment Ltd, Samuel Lupo said that purpose of the event was to get families together and enjoy good music to end the year on a good note.

“My background lies in music and I focus on organizing events like this. The main purpose of the event is to get the family together all families, friends and fans to come together and have a time out from the crazy week and month leading up to Christmas,” Lupo said.

Young Davie who is the son of renowned Solomon Islands singer Saba, sang his famous hits in PNG as well as his father’s hit songs.

Families brought their kids and elders to enjoy the event.
