Battle of the Bands will enter its top 20 elimination round on June 9th at the Sir John Guise Stadium.
Giving this event a boost, Mintt PNG presented a cheque of K40,000 to the organisers.
The Battle of the Bands 2018 season started off with over 200 bands.
The final 20 bands will now go head to head in the music ring on Saturday, June 9th, for a chance to win cash prizes up to K10,000.
The battle started with a big bang and the K40,000 from Mintt PNG yesterday will ensure it ends on a high note.
The elimination round is expected to be a huge event, unearthing raw musical talents from some of Port Moresby’s finest musicians.
A lot of activities are anticipated on that as well as prize giveaways.
The 3 final bands will advance to the grand final in September.
Australian boy band, the Justice Crew, will grace the Battle of the Bands grand final stage.
Tickets will be given away to lucky spectators during the June 9th showdown.
