Band drops yet-to-be-released songs

You can proudly say that it was on the stage of the Cosmopolitan that the Sheppard band performed all the songs on their second album.

And lead singer George Sheppard says this is in fact the first time they have dropped all songs on the album, which is yet to be released.

It was a 16-song performance, including old hits like Let Me Down Easy and Bombs Away from the first album.

And before heading on to their next international tour, Sheppard shared this excitement with Papua New Guinea.

“It has always been our dream to come back and perform here so it was amazing. Thank you for having us. It was an awesome night,” George said after the performance.

The night with the Sheppard band was well received at the Cosmopolitan.

The band even brought their mentor – Buruka Tau – on stage to share a music with them.

“And he killed it,” George said proudly.

The Sheppard claim there’s a hint of PNG in all their music.

“For the song Choke, which we performed, it is groovy and has the tropical vibe to it. And when Amy and I sing, people always say we have a pacific harmony,” he said.

The band returns to Brisbane on Monday.

New hit single Keep Crazy is out on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and all good music outlets.
