Namah confident with "Element of Surprise”

The Kokopo alliance camp while refusing to openly discuss their numbers are confident that they will form the next government.

In an exclusive interview with Loop PNG tonight Vanimo Green MP Belden Namah says that his team is ready for Wednesday.

To date, the numbers count from Kokopo has been varied, Loop PNG this afternoon ran an update with an estimate of 50 members in camp.

However from the National Alliance FB page there is a list of 48 members whilst sources on ground give the count at 45.

When posed the question of verifying the count, Namah confidently refused to give a confirmed number, adding that his camp wanted the extra “element of surprise” when it came to their show of numbers.

The vocal leader stressed the fact that his camp was not desperate for power rather, they were desperate to save the country from peril, adding only that the numbers to date at his camp looked good.

Meantime, the country is now left to anticipate the final outcomes from both the PNC led Alotau and Kokopo Alliance camps as parliament is due to sit this Wednesday for the formation of government.

More updates to follow.
