The convoy is set to take to the streets of Port Moresby to drum up public support and create awareness on the West Papua agenda and talk on the recent stance taken by the PNG Government and other Pacific countries during the current Pacific Islands Forum.

Present this morning are representatives of the main NGO groups,  namely the  People’s Power Movement by Noel Anjo, Partners with Melanesia led by Kenn Mondia and PNG Anti-Corruption Movement headed by Lucas Kiap are also present at the gathering.

Meantime, Mondia also told Loop PNG this morning that the PNG union made up of the respective unions as well as their regional partners were encouraged by the diplomatic stance taken by PNG Prime Minister Peter O’Neill when talking about the issue of West Papua.
