Wagambie Jnr ready for new post

Superintendent Anthony Wagambie junior is ready to take up his new post as the new Metropolitan police commander of Lae.

Wagabie has accepted his transfer.

He thanked the people of East New Britian for the lifetime experience during his short time as Provincial Police Commander.

He described Lae as a melting pot with many ethnic groups and settlements linked by road and sea.

Wagambie said his 7 years as a Mobile Squad Commander in Goroka EHP, 3 and half years as Mobile Squad Group Commander at McGregor NCD and 6 years as PPC Madang will help in his new posting in Lae.

He describes the new transfers as healthy for young career officers and an opportunity to experience different environments of policing.
