One Port Moresby family is still shaken today after a nasty accident around midnight last night.
As adults watched television and kids were just about dozing off to sleep in their bedroom, a vehicle skid off the road and rammed into the property fence stopping abruptly near a room but not before crashing into the home owner’s 12 month old car.
A relative of the family, Tauna Hanua told LOOP News the children’s bedroom was directly in the path of the car.
Two of the occupants ran away soon after the car they were in ground to a halt.
The driver however was apprehended by male family members and neighbours and later handed over to police.
