Stop N Shop Kone launched

City Pharmacy Limited (CPL) has entered into another extension phase today with the launching of its ninth newly-established Stop N Shop shopping centre at the Harbour City in Port Moresby.

City Pharmacy sales manager David Bell said a soft launch was done on Monday but today is the official launching of the shop, where all sections within the building will be open by this afternoon for customers.

“With opening of the Harbour City Stop N Shop, we will now have about nine operating shops in the city,” Bell said.

“It is one of our biggest SNS shops around the city compared to the Central Waigani one, and the prices are reasonable like any other Stop N Shop shops in the city.”

Business has been really tough but it is growing. We are also looking at establishing a few around the major cities in the country, he stated.

Bell also urged families and citizens to help support the business to back PNG through sports with CPL being the major sponsor to some of the international and national teams in the country.

Meanwhile, the launching also involved some of the sporting teams, both national and international, to participate in the launch in promoting the organisation’s reputation and support to the country.

The PNG women’s cricket team CPL PNG Lewas, the Digicel Cup rugby league team Port Moresby SNS Vipers, PNG women’s rugby union team the PNG Palais, City Pharmacy Rebels in the netball competition and also the recently-formed rugby union team Central Highlanders.

The teams were present at the launching to honour their major sponsor, the CPL limited.
