Samsung Galaxy S7 video leak shows the handset out in the wild

Samsung has been a leaky ship in the run-up to the Galaxy S7's grand unveiling this Sunday (February 21), an event that's looking increasingly likely to hold zero surprises.

The latest leak comes in the form of video footage published by Android Authority, showing the flagship handset functioning in the wild.

The clip (below) comes from the same source who claimed that the device and its curvy sibling the Galaxy S7 Edge will shun USB Type-C technology in favour of microUSB ports.

Previous leaks point to advanced water resistance, a pressure sensitive display, and a similar form factor to the acclaimed Galaxy S6.

Samsung will unveil the phones on the eve of the Mobile World Congress, the same day that LG is due to lift the lid on its S7-rivalling LG G5.

To make way for its new flagships, Samsung has given its Galaxy S6 range a bumper price cut, slashing over £100 of its original tags.
