Rapatona works on attack as Dwellers game approaches

PKA Rapatona FC is working on its attacking skills in the lead up to this Saturday’s game against visiting team Lae City Dwellers in Port Moresby.

After losing their first two games in the NSL Champions League against unbeaten MRDC Hekari United FC, Rapatona are not giving up that easily as they focus on preparation in the past two days.

Rapatona coach Selan Elizah said he is working closely with his boys to beef up on their attacking skills.

Elizah said they will need to improve in this area in order to score goals.

“We also need to work on our defence and movements of our players on the field as we have missed too many opportunity goals in the past.

“The problem is that we have a strong backline but there’s no support up front with the strikers,” said Elizah.

Rapatona will have the advantage of home ground however it is no doubt that Morobeans in the capital will be out in yellow, blue and white to support their boys.

The match will commence at 2pm and will be telecast live on EMTV at the Bisini Soccer Grounds.
