Polye Condemns Terrorist Attack In France

Opposition Leader Don Pomb Polye has joined the world leaders in condemning the terrorist attack in France last Friday that left 129 people dead.

Mr Polye said such senseless killing of innocent people must be condemned in the strongest terms by all world leaders.

“Terrorism does not have a place in the modern society and those found to be committing such acts must be brought to justice,” said Mr Polye.

“No words can bring comfort to those who lost loved ones through such acts of brutality,” said Mr Polye.

The Opposition Leader  extended his sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims, the government of France and her people.

“Our prayers are with you at this time of loss,” said the Opposition Leader.

Meanwhile, the Opposition Leader has called on PNG government to immediately establish contact with some Papua New Guinea nationals living in France to see if they had been affected by the recent terrorism acts.
