The women’s  group from Idubada in the National Capital District has pledge their support for the US Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

President of Idubada Women of Worth Association, Rebecca Joe Kin said even though Clinton can be miles away from PNG but technology can bring her very close to us.

“You may not remember us because we are not that important. We remember you because you are world known person.

“Once upon a time during your visitation as the US Secretary of State you came to our country, Papua New Guinea and stepped on our soil at Idubada - Port Moresby, by officially launching the Climate Change & Environment campaign back in November 3, 2010,” Kin told Loop PNG through an email.

She said the legacy that Clinton left behind was so treasure to them especially the women of Idubada because one of her keynote speech is about women’s rights

She added that it was a delight and a blessing to them to hear her charming words echoed from the aid of the PA system from a distance.

“Now that you are running for the President seat in US, it is our wish that we are there with you so we can give you the biggest support ever because we knew you as a very humble person with dignity, who came to our homeland which formed in us a relationship that we will never forget about your legacy.

“Madam Hillary Clinton we pledge our whole hearted support and best wishes for your success to the top post in US.
