Make-up artist accuses Kylie Jenner of plagiarism over campaign concept

A make-up artist says she's taking legal advice after accusing Kylie Jenner of copying her campaign.

Vlada Haggerty says The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star copied a concept that her and her colleagues came up with months ago.

This isn't the first time the pair have argued.

In a Refinery 29 interview, Vlada accused Kylie Jenner of copying an idea for a photo of her melting lipstick without crediting her for it.

Kylie Jenner has also been accused of copying YouTuber Shannon Harris after she released her first Kyshadow eyeshadow palette.

Glamour pointed out how similar it was to Shannon's collaboration with BH Cosmetics.

Shannon Harris posted photos side by side of her palette and Kylie Jenner's on Twitter.

Kylie Jenner didn't comment on that allegation but did post a photo on Instagram showing the eyeshadow palette in its conception stage.

Apart from being accused of copying other people's work, Kylie Jenner's cosmetics' line has been in trouble over defective wands in lip glosses.

One user posted this photo of hers on Twitter.

The product line has been criticised over its pricing and people have complained that the products are often half empty.

Make-up artists on YouTube have spoken out about the issue.

At least three YouTubers posted videos criticising the quantity of Kylie's Kymajesty metallic lipstick in each tube.

They weren't impressed about the quality of the product either.

Newsbeat has contacted Kylie Jenner's representatives for a response but we haven't received anything back yet.
