Magpies side boast four current Broncos players

The Souths Logan Magpies have added firepower for their game against the SP Hunters this Saturday, boasting four current Brisbane Broncos contracted players.

Prop Joe Ofahengaue, a member of the 2015 Broncos grand final side that lost to North Queensland Cowboys, has played almost 30 games for Brisbane since being signed up last year.

Fellow prop forward Herman Ese’Ese made his debut in Round 8 in April when the Broncos played South Sydney. He is a former Canterbury Bulldogs player.

Joe Boyce, who plays at lock, made his Broncos debut in Round 11 last year while sensational centre Marion Seve is awaiting his chance for a start in Bennet’s star studded backline.

The Magpies are coached by former North Queensland Cowboys and Queensland State of Origin goal kicking centre, Josh Hannay.

The Magpies will arrive in Port Moresby at 1.30pm on Saturday. Kick off will be at 6.30pm at the National Football Stadium.
