Hunters climb to second place on Intrust ladder

The SP PNG Hunters have climbed up one step from third to second spot on the Intrust Super Cup ladder after their round seven win against Norths Devils.

Hunters are leveled on 12 points with Townsville Blackhawks but Blackhawks are leading the competition due to points for and against.

Both teams have so far won six out of seven games played.

Burleigh Bears have moved down from second to fifth spot and share 10 points with Northern Pride and Redcliff Dolphins, who are in third and fourth place respectively.

Easts Tigers are on sixth spot with nine points, followed by Sunshine Coast Falcons and CQ Capras on eight points.

Norths Devils have moved from eighth to ninth spot on seven points following their loss against Hunters on the weekend.

Souths Logan Magpies take up the 10th spot on six points followed by Ipswich Jets and Tweed Heads Seagulls on four points, Wynnum Manly Seagulls on two points and Mackay Cutters yet to put a mark on the scoreboard.
