Gurias are 2015 Melanesian Club Champions

The Agmark Gurias have won the inaugural 2015 Melanesian Club Championship Challenge after convincingly beating the Sabeto Roosters 42-2 at the Sir John Guise stadium tonight.

It was a hat trick to centre Edward Goma in the second half that set up a comprehensive win for the home side.

Goma scored early in the second half and  again in the 54th minute to put the score out to 26-2 after Jason Missian missed the conversion.

Missian himself went in 10 minutes later after quick hands gave him space to dive over on the wing.

Konie Bernard added more points through a barnstorming run to get himself over the line.

Goma added the icing on the cake right on full time, picking up his third for the night. Forward Pidi Tongap booted the extra two points to cap off an easy win for the Gurias.
