Get ready for Klinim Mosbi Campaign

The “Klinim Mosbi Campaign” is scheduled to start from Monday 17th October to Sunday 13th November.

Sustainable Coastline PNG (SCPNG), in collaboration with principle partner NCDC, is coordinating nine public awareness events across NCDC through the campaign.

Founder and CEO of SCPNG, Ryley Webster, says this is to educate NCDC residents about the impact of littering plastic products on the environment and human health. It will also inspire them to incorporate easy-to-adopt solutions into their everyday lives.

“The events will involve the delivery of these messages through the art of music, theatre as well as high profile ambassador appearance,” Webster says.

The nine locations are Moresby North west; Hohola, Gerehu and Waigani market, Moresby North East; Nine-Mile, Gordon market and Four-Mile Square, Moresby South; Kaugere, Koki market and Hanuabada village.

He adds that SCPNG will offer a free-of-charge educational presentation that will be delivered by experienced staff for schools who wish to participate. There will also be an online promotion of the schools’ involvement in the campaign.

Webster is urging the public to take part in the positive action to address the issue of pollution in the city.
