Westpac PNG Chairman Greg Pawson said a record number of nominations were received in 2016, a great achievement for the 10th anniversary year.
“It’s my great pleasure, on behalf of Westpac and the WOW sponsors, to welcome the 21 finalist to the WOW alumni,’ Mr Pawson said. “PNG’s WOW alumni demonstrate not only what women can achieve when they believe in their own potential and pursue it fiercely –but what can happen when girls and women are provided with encouragement and inspiration through positive role models.”
Winners of the 2016 WOW awards will be announced at a special ceremony later this week. The winner of each individual category is in the running for the overall WOW woman of the year title.
