E-Commerce Summit gets BSP sponsorship

Bank South Pacific (BSP) have come on board the corporate sponsorship bandwagon for the E-Commerce SME Summit to be held in Port Moresby next week.

BSP today announced a K20,000 gold level sponsorship rights for the summit. 

The summit will coincide with the 2nd APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Meeting in Port Moresby from the 24th to 27th April. 

BSP’s Manager – SME, Dennis Konu said, “BSP sees this as an important event for Small to Medium Entrepreneurs (SME), especially for our SME customers.”

“We recognise the importance of SMEs in the country and how they contribute to the economy, and supporting this summit will further develop the SME in E-Commerce. 

“BSP is a leader in providing e-Business solutions such as EFTPoS, Secure On-line Banking, Mobile Banking, Mobile Payments, Internet Payment Gateway and Bill Pay to small business in PNG. We are keen to contribute and look at ways to improve our service offering. “

PNG Business Council executive director Douveri Henao thanked the Bank for the financial support in providing financial service to the SME sector.

The event will host the 20-member country representatives with ABAC China Dianne Wang as the host and facilitator of the meeting. 

It is expected that more than  700 SME representatives will be attending the event.
