The Acting Secretary for Education, Dr Uke Kombra, is calling on all the provincial education authorities including the principals of the national high schools, teachers’ and technical colleges to closely monitor the filling in of documents that are relat
These documents were dispatched in December 2015 by the department’s payroll division.
This includes the Resumption of Duty Summary Sheets, Teacher Record of Appointment (EDB023) and Application for Teacher Registration As A Teacher (EDB020).
He urged the principals of the national high schools, teachers’ and technical colleges to call in at the Provincial Education Centres to collect their teachers’ documents from the provincial payroll officers.
“These documents are important, and as a requirement, they must be completed on Monday 25th January, 2016 by teachers who have been appointed to a school and a position this year,” said the Acting Secretary.
Meanwhile, Dr Kombra is asking the relevant authorities in the provinces, standards officers, provincial education advisers and principals of the national high schools, teachers’ and technical colleges to contact the Payroll Division on the following phone numbers for more information: 301 3490 or 3013494.
