Another Aizuwe make a mark in art

The Aizuwes are a household name in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province because they have stamped a mark in the code of rugby league having represented the Goroka Lahanis and PNG Kumuls.

Originally from Kurumbukari in Madang Province, one of the Aizuwe siblings, Makali had advance to greater heights in rugby league and is now on contract playing  in England for more than a decade now。

Makali’s elder brother Chris Aizuwe adorned the Kumul jumper in the late 1990s, and the one before, Makali, Nick has had stints with the Goroka Lahanis for a number of seasons as a dummy-half specialist.

Apart from the rugby league limelight, Nick has taken the Aizuwe name-tag to another career path, and that is in art.

Nick is the brain and the hand behind the success of Kurakum Signs, a graphic art company now designing beautiful and very spectacular designs,paintings and murals in Madang.

Since moving to his home province Nick has been concentrating on art such as his spectacular mural paintings, designs and portraits had won the admiration of many clients.

Some of Nick’s notable designs can be seen at the Jais Aben Resort, where he painted the whole walls of the facility’s new conference centre.

Nick has also added a brighter look in the interior of Niugini Klab in Madang town.

Many visitors to the club are so impressed with the designs and murals created by Nick, another amazing artist from Bundi in Madang Province.
