Adele shimmers onstage

Adele looked every inch the superstar as she performed in Verona, Italy on Saturday.

The British singer wore a shimmery blue and black dress as she took to the stage at the historic Arena di Verona, the latest stop on her world tour.

The 28-year-old star appeared to be in high spirits as she serenaded the sold-out crowd.

Adele's custom Burberry gown featured black side panels and blue, pink and green shimmering sequins as she performed at the unique outdoor venue, which was built by Ancient Romans in the 1st century.

The London-born singer wore her strawberry blonde hair down in a stylish bob, and added gold earrings and long, dark nails.

Adele appeared to be having a blast as she belted out her hits and even ventured into the crowd to perform as fans captured the moment on their phones.

The British singer had a memorable misstep on stage in Lisbon, Portugal when she forgot the words to A Million Miles Away last week.

But the down-to-earth diva was quick to poke fun at herself, cracking up at her mistake before swearing up a storm on stage.
'S**t, s**t, s**t. Should I sing the right words?' she told the crowd.

'Sorry! I started singing the words instead of the chorus.'
The singer, who shares three-year-old son Angelo with businessman partner Simon Konecki, also recently gave a big shout-out to her idol Beyonce.

She shared a photo of herself hugging a photo of Beyonce on Instagram as she praised the singer's infidelity-themed album Lemonade.

'I'm not late on this I've just been speechless,' Adele wrote.

'Beyonce is the most inspiring person I've ever had the pleasure of worshipping. Her talent, beauty, grace and work ethic are all in a league of their own.

I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyoncé,' she wrote.
