Young Sepik man discovers secret of e-commerce in Yu Em Boss

Smith Yamanavan is a young man who knows what he is doing and knows where he is going.

The 30 year old from East Sepik, a  Level Four student of Entrepreneurship is a young man found a new lease of life.  However, two years ago, Smith was like any other young man fighting hard to make ends meet.

“I did odd jobs and sold betelnut on the street. I worked for the Justice Department, but I soon found out it was not for me,” the vicacious young man said.

“People were telling me what to do and I was blocked by four walls around, however after a while I told myself this job was not for me.”  So Yamanavan left formal work to be free to follow his own dreams.

In about November last year, the young Sepik man heard  about a new group being set up at Nine Mile called Yu Em Boss. The information he found out about this new group was that they were promoting e-commerce.

Being inquisitive and with his thirst for knowledge Smith caught a PMV to Nine-Mile and came to the Yu Em Boss office.

What he heard from the staff and Partners of Yu Em Boss caught his imagination and his heart to be part of the group. He registered and became an official member of Yu Em Boss.

He was so excited with the concept that, the next day he turned up with 50 people which he recruited to work with him.

“I  had always been interested in e-commerce and when I heard about Yu Em Boss I just made my way here and got registered,” Smith told Loop PNG.

“Yu Em Boss is the new business revolution and I am encouraging everyone to register and take part in this new and exciting e-commerce initiative.”

“It is difficult for ordinary people like me to set up an SME. You have to go through so many checks, and then you need clearance and other papers before you qualify.”

“With Yu Em Boss you don’t pay to register and  when you do register you can start selling their products on-line on your Facebook page. This is the beginning of e-commerce,” An excited Smith told Loop PNG.

To date by creating awareness about Yu Em Boss Smith has registered 1,200 people. Many are now selling products online, with their commission already being paid.

As of Wednesday Februay 8, 2017, Smith Yamanavan was officially engaged by Yu Em Boss lead Partner Danny Linny to be their Marketing Executive.

One thing is for certain Smith is destined to go all the way to the top now that he has found a niche in which to buy and sell with at Yu Em Boss.
